We Turn Untapped Potential Into Paid Leadership

Better Men Initiative believes the people best equipped to fix the prison system are the people who've been through it. We find men inside who have leadership potential that's being wasted, and we turn them into paid peer instructors who teach other incarcerated men how to rebuild their lives.

Our board is entirely made up of formerly incarcerated men who now run successful businesses. They're not theorizing about what works—they're living proof.
